Grenada Vacations

With such an irregular coastline, Grenada is marked by many small bays and inlets. You will find secluded and private beaches, many of which untouched. Most have white sand but there are a number of finer and softer black sand.

The south western part of Grenada is the most popular, particularly along two-mile Grand Anse stretch. On Carriacou, Anse La Roche is the most scenic beach on the island with coral reefs just offshore.

Black sand beaches include Bathway Beach in St Patrick, Black Bay Beach in St John and Dusquene Bay in St Mark.

White Sand beaches include L'Anse aux Epines Beach in St George, L'Esterre Bay Beach in Carriacou, La Sagesse Beach in St David, Morne Rouge Beach in St George and Petit Carenage Beach in Carriacou.

Climate
The climate on the island is balmy year round with temperatures oscillating between 24° C and 30° C. Breezy trade winds keep the air refreshing and the humidity low. The rainy season is from June to November. The water temperature hovers around 26° C.
